Aleph Insights employs a series of data mining techniques in an iterative fashion, to hone in on the data you need to answer your questions. Where information is scarce, we are able to develop novel methods for generating the required data or estimating the variables of interest. We also augment this data with expert judgement which we capture, through our structured analytical workshops, in a format that can be readily integrated into our analysis.

Verification of children online
- Client:UK Government
- Years:2019 - 2020
Aleph Insights audited all of the potential data sources that could be used to verify identity online to help reduce the risk of child harm on behalf of a government agency. These data sources were evaluated for their reliability, practicality and other criteria in order to design an identity verification framework. We also developed an algorithmic approach for combining these data sources to maximise confidence in the verification process. This approach is now being developed as part of the UK’s effort to safeguard children online.
